Last July 13th I visited the Physics Department at UB (Departament de Física Fonamental), and had the chance to present our recent work on “Driving rate dependence of avalanche statistics and shapes at the yielding transition”. Thanks to Matteo Palassini for the invitation, and to Carmen Miguel and all the colleagues that have shown up at the seminar for the nice discussions.
